Effective July 14, 2026. Applies to capecoralsepticpumping.com.
Cape Coral Septic Pumping is a marketing site that connects Cape Coral homeowners with an independent septic contractor. It takes your contact details and hands them to somebody else. This page covers how that works.
What we collect
We collect what you send us:
- Form submissions. Your name, phone number, email address, service address, and whatever you tell us about the job: tank size, when it was last pumped, whether the yard is wet, what the drains are doing.
- Call records. The number you called from, the date and time, how long the call lasted, and an audio recording of the call if recording is in use on that line.
- Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records IP address, browser type, which pages loaded, and when. We do not use those logs to build a profile of you.
We do not ask for a Social Security number or bank or card details, and you should not send them. A septic service request does not need any of that.
Call recording
Your call may be recorded, and you will be told before it is.
Florida is an all-party-consent state under Fla. Stat. 934.03. Calls to and from the published number may be recorded for quality and training purposes; a disclosure plays at the start of each call, and by remaining on the line you consent to recording.
Florida is not a one-party-consent state. Under Fla. Stat. 934.03 everyone on the call has to consent, so the disclosure plays at the beginning. If you would rather not be recorded, hang up when you hear it and use the contact form instead.
Call tracking
The phone number published on this site may be a tracked number rather than the contractor's own line. It rings through to the contractor and tells us which pages produce calls. It does not change who answers or what you pay. The person answering will name the company doing the work.
Who we share it with
Your submission goes to:
- The independent septic contractor we route to. Once they have your information, their own privacy practices govern what they do with it, and we do not control that. This site is a marketing platform that routes inbound calls and form submissions to an independent septic contractor serving Cape Coral and Lee County. We do not pump tanks, perform septic work, or hold any septic credential ourselves. Florida requires the person who pumps your tank to hold a credential under Part III of Chapter 489, Florida Statutes: either a septic tank contractor registration or a state plumbing contractor license. It also requires the service company to hold an annual septage disposal operating permit for its county. Availability, work scope, scheduling, and contract terms are set by that contractor.
- Service providers who run this site. Web hosting, the form handler that delivers submissions to an inbox, and the call tracking and recording provider. They process the data to provide those services, not for their own marketing.
- Anyone a law requires. A valid subpoena, court order, or lawful request gets a response.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or other septic companies bidding for the same lead. Your request goes to one contractor.
Cookies, analytics and the map
This is a plain static site. As of July 14, 2026 we set no tracking cookies of our own and run no analytics or advertising pixels.
There is one third party. The service-area map on the home page and on Areas We Serve is a Google Maps embed. When that map loads, your browser contacts Google directly, and Google may set its own cookies and receive your IP address and the page you are on. That is Google's collection, not ours, and it is governed by Google's privacy policy. The map is loaded lazily, so it does not contact Google at all unless you scroll to it.
If analytics or a call-tracking script is added later, this page will be updated to name it and describe what it collects before it goes live.
How long we keep it
Form submissions and call records are kept while they are useful for servicing your request and for the business record of it, typically a couple of years, and then deleted. Recordings are kept for a shorter period than the written record of the call. Server logs roll off on the hosting provider's normal schedule.
Getting your information deleted
Email service@capecoralsepticpumping.com from the address you used, or include the phone number you called from, and ask us to delete your information. We will delete what we hold and tell you when it is done. Two limits:
- If your request already went to the contractor, we cannot delete their copy. Ask them directly. We will tell you who they are.
- We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and honored, because that is how we prove we honored it.
Children
This site is for homeowners and property managers arranging septic service. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will change this page and move the effective date at the top.
